Hotels
In order to certify your connection to our service, you must provide evidence of how this information is displayed on your website.
The evidence must be submitted as a PDF file with screenshots clearly labeled with their corresponding item numbers. Links to your website are not valid for this process. Reports can be submitted in the same PDF or as attachments. If any of these requests do not apply, please report them and document them.
Bookings for certification should be done in SandBox Environment
Here is the list of reservations you need to run for the test:
- 1 room with 1 adult
- 1 room with 2 adults + 1 minor up to 7 years old
- 2 rooms with 2 adults each
- 2 rooms, one with 1 adult + 1 minor up to 3 years old, and the other with 2 adults + 1 minor up to 1 year old
- It is mandatory to verify the minor's age is set in the search field (ages ranging 0-17 yo).
- It is mandatory to search by hotel id. We recommend searching up to 50 hotel id per request.
- Make sure that customer's name and surname include the following characters only: may contain: a-z, A-Z and "ÁÉÍÓÚáéíóúäëïöüÄËÏÖÜÕŨÑãõũñÂÊÎÔÛâêîôûÇçḈḉḐḑȨȩḜḝĢģḨḩĶķĻļŅņŖŗŞşŢţçüéàßø" (ISO-8859-1)
- Verify that the hotel name,room type, bedding and meal plan are displayed in the search results.
- Verify that the filter “charge_at_destination” is displayed in the booking flow (mandatory as required by California’s AB 537).
- Make sure that the cancellation policies are displayed. Include the details of how they are calculated.
- Indicate if the static content shown is from HotelDO or how it is constructed.
- Indicate which payment type was developed: depositpayment and/or agencycreditpayment.
- Make sure your platform allows including passenger names per room.
- Make sure that at least 1 passenger name is requested per room.
- Details of how booking errors are displayed on your side, along with the relationship of the error code versus the HotelDO id.
- Validate the correct use of the "IsBindingRate" tag for Binding Rates; if "IsBindingRate = true," the "AgencyPublic" value must be applied as the minimum selling rate (“Total” value will always remain the net rate). To validate this item, you must also provide files as evidence.

- Perform the complete confirmation flow of a reservation (search, prebook, book, cancel, etc.).
- Verify that the confirmation receipt or voucher displays the following:
- Date of the reservation.
- Hotel DO confirmation number.
- Service confirmation details:
- Room;
- Meals;
- Occupancy;
- Guest name;
- Check-in and check-out dates;
- Main guest name;
- Cancellation policy;
- Fees to pay at Destination (from our dynamic charge_at_destination filter.
- Notices;
- Validate after-sale services including logs fromGetBookingsByDate and GetItinerary services, which you would use to validate the data of the reservations created when needed. Mind that this services (including CancelItineraryHotel) are available only after 60 seconds from when the confirmation gets confirmed.
- Finally, we will ask you for a list of the reservations that you need to make from your platform in our Sandbox environment to verify if the previous requests have been correctly fulfilled. This will allow us to verify the accuracy of the information you have provided. Please send the booking logs. You can cancel the bookings a few minutes after confirmation and send us the logs so we can double-check.
